The world record holder captivated the crowd as she stormed to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles, clocking a season-best time of 12.45 seconds.

Dutch hurdler Nadine Visser finished second with a time of 12.67 seconds, while Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska claimed third place in 12.69 seconds.

With the Moroccan crowd roaring in support, Amusan’s confidence and rhythm were on full display as she flew over the hurdles, crossing the finish line well ahead of the competition.

This performance not only secured her a well-deserved win but also etched her name into the record books at the Rabat meet, breaking the previous Meeting Record of 12.51 seconds set by American Brianna McNeal back in 2018.

Coming in behind Amusan was Dutch hurdler Nadine Visser, who clocked 12.67 seconds, while Poland’s rising star Pia Skrzyszowska finished third in 12.69 seconds.

This win reaffirms Amusan’s status as Africa’s undisputed sprint queen and further cements her preparations for the upcoming Olympic season.

It also places her performance among the fastest times this year, giving her a psychological edge over her global rivals.
