Paris Saint Germain advance to the semi-final of the Champions League after knocking out holders Bayern Munich on away goals.
Bayern were 1-0 winners on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes, but Eric Maxim Choupo Moting’s goal was not enough as they crashed out on away goals (3-3 on aggregate).
PSG have now qualified for their second successive semi-final after last season’s painful loss to Bayern.
They will now face either Manchester City or Borussia Dortmund in the semi final.
On the other hand, Chelsea survived a nervey finale against FC Porto to reach the semis for the first time in seven years.
Mehdi Taremi had put the visitors in front with a superb bicycle kick at added time but was not enough to force Chelsea into extra-time as the game ended (2-1 on aggregate) in favour of the Blues.
The defeat on the night, was Chelsea’s first in the competition this season.
The Blues will square off against winner between Real Madrid and Liverpool in the semis.
