The Prime Minister of Eswatini, Ambrose Dlamini has been transferred to a hospital in South Africa to fast-track his recovery from the Covid-19 virus.
PM Dlamini tested positive to the novel corona virus in November and had since been on isolation and treatment.
He was said to asymptomatic at the time and feeling very well while isolating at home.
The government said the transfer was aimed at accelerating his recovery.
Eswatini formerly known as Swaziland so far has 6,442 confined cases of Covid-19 with 122 deaths according to the country’s health ministry.
