Nigeria on Saturday defeated Cameroon 2-0 in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 Round of 16 clash in Cote d’ivoire.
It was Serie A and Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman who scored twice in each half to hand Nigeria a famous win over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

Osimhen’s Continious Piling Pressure
Victor Osimhen broke free and laid off a pass to Lookman, who saw his weak finish trickle pass the line.
With time running out, Lookman touched home Calvin Bassey’s cross.
Jose Peseiro’s men will now face Angola in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Earlier in the day, Angola thrashed Namibia 3-0 in their last-16 clash.
Angola’s Gelson Dala also scored twice in the first knockout encounter of the current campaign.
