With few days to the kickoff of 2023 FIFA Club World Cup, Morocco’s music star Nadir Khayat, popularly known as RedOne is set to release an official track for the annual competition.
The tournament involving winning clubs of various continental football league is slated for February.
Participating clubs this term will include Morocco’s Al Wydad, Real Madrid of Spain, Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), and Egypt’s Al Ahly.
“It’s going to [include] more artists involved in the same official FIFA song,” RedOne told Morocco World News (MWN) of the song, adding that its release date is still under discussion.
Morocco’s Tangier and Rabat will host the games of the Club World Cup.
The multi-grammy award-winning Moroccan producer has recently made international headlines after his “Hayya Hayya” (better together) FIFA World Cup song.
The song featured Trinidad Cardona Davido and Aisha.
RedOne joined FIFA as Creative Entertainment Executive in December 2021.
The Moroccan producer composed the official anthem for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, as well as other football-themed songs.
In addition to producing songs, RedOne is also a singer and songwriter for superstars from across the world.
As a record producer and songwriter, the Moroccan star collaborated with different renowned artists, including Lady Gaga, Akon, Michael Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, MIKA, and Pitbull, among many others.
He supported the Atlas Lions who made history by becoming first African team to reach semi-final stage at the World Cup.
Incidentally, RedOne rallied huge support and watched their matches in Qatar.
