Indications emerged on Sunday that current club of Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, Napoli, might have rejected a €130m offer from Saudi Arabia pro league side Al-Hilal.
The club had reportedly submitted an offer for Osimhen after their initial target Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain turned them down.
Al Hilal have now been forced to switch targets after Mbappe refused to open talks.
Recent rumours suggested that Al-Hilal have switched focus to Osimhen, who was the star of Napoli’s Scudetto winning campaign last season, netting 26 goals in 32 league games.
Al-Hilal Offer
According to TMW, Al-Hilal have submitted a bid around €130m for Osimhen, an offer that was swiftly rejected by Napoli.
The Partenopei do not want to sell the Nigerian striker this summer and are currently working on tying him down to a new long-term contract.
Osimhen’s Value And More Interests
He is valued at around €200m.
Several English Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal had shown interest in the lad but nothing much has been heard about their offers in recent times.
PSG are also interested in getting the signature of the highly rated footballer, but are yet to meet Napoli’s pay target.
