Two Tunisian players, Seifeddine Khaoui and Ferjani Sassi have tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against Nigeria in Austria.
This was confirmed when tests were carried out after Tunisia’s match against Sudan last Friday.
With the development, both Sassi and Khaoui will not be available for selection on Tuesday.
The duo featured in the 3-0 win over Sudan in Tunis with Khaoui scoring the opener, before Ben Slimane and Ali Maaloul completed the rout at half time.
Sassi was an unused substitute in the game.
Both players have since been dropped from the Tunisian squad and have been placed in isolation ahead of Tunisia’s friendly encounter with Nigeria.
