Nigerian international Victor Osimhen is likely not going to be featured during his club Napoli versus Fiorentina clash this weekend.
The goal poacher may also not play when the Super Eagles face Bayana Bayana of South Africa in a 2026 World Cup qualifier in June should the injury persists.
Osimhen sustained a muscle injury in the Partenopei’s home defeat to Bologna last weekend.
The 25-year-old has not trained with his teammates this week.
The Nigeria international only had physiotherapy and personalised work in the gym on Wednesday.
Osimhen has scored 15 goals in Serie A this season.
He has been affected by numerous injuries and absence due to the Africa Cup of Nations in January and February
