“I will like to express my sincere gratitude, once again, to His Excellency, Mr. President, for giving me the opportunity to serve my country as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development and through the instrumentality of that office, strive to be of service to the multitude of the poor and vulnerable persons in urgent need of social and humanitarian intervention across the country.

“I also thank TBS Media and the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation OSGF most sincerely for considering me worthy of the 2022 NEAPS Distinguished Award for Social and Humanitarian Intervention, and for uplifting me to join the club of other distinguished Nigerians so honored alongside me today”.

The minister pledged to continue to do her best for the country which is her contribution towards ultimately salvaging Nigeria from its challenges.

The Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service is aimed at recognizing distinguished public service to Nigeria through contributions by individuals, state or local community in leadership, service or humanitarianism.
