The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the draws for the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier for WAFU B.
The draw was conducted on Thursday with Nigeria landing in group B alongside Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire.
Host Togo, Ghana, Niger and Benin were placed in group A of the competition.
The tournament scheduled for October, will serve as the qualifier for the U20 African Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, CAF has awarded the hosting right of the U20 AFCON tournament to South Africa billed for January 2025.
South Africa hosted the competition 13 years ago.
Nigeria won the competition then, edging past Senegal in the final.
In 2023, Nigeria finished third at the U20 AFCON held in Egypt.
