Fast rising Super Eagles winger Anayo Iwuala has celebrated Enyimba’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in the CAF Confederation Cup on Wednesday.
The two-time African champions went into the last Group A game in dire need of a victory to reach the Caf Confederation Cup quarter-final.
Coach Fatai Osho’s side had dominated ball possession; however, what they failed to do was convert several goalscoring chances.
With the game looking destined to end in a 0-0 draw, Cyril Olisema’s last-gasp effort from Anayo Iwuala’s assist sent the Nigerians through.
The result ensured the People’s Elephant finished top of Group A with nine points from six games.
Iwuala took to the social media to show his happiness over the crucial victory.
