Also, government has no authority to dictate the dress code of citizens. I'm wondering why those whose businesses have been destroyed by the so-called Hisbah police haven't challenged them in court.

These primitive nonsense is happening because people are not challenging them.

You can't allow the hisbah police to destroy trucks alcohol and still be collecting revenue from the sale of alcohol. Even devil won't accept that hypocrisy. The Kano state should be carved out from receiving revenue generated from alcohol sales.. Period!!

— YohBaba💙⭐ (@Yohanrealdeal) November 9, 2020

Taxes from Alcohol shouldn't be part of revenues shared to Kano and other such states. Meanwhile, Kano is the headquarters for hard drugs. https://t.co/pi5z2c7yOS

— chris agabi (@agabichris) November 9, 2020

My only question is if Kano state doesn’t want alcohol consumption then, the tax gotten from alcohol nationwide through the VAT on each bottle. Shouldn’t go to the state..

Bloody hypocrites https://t.co/YaOqZ3G6Fw
