As violent clashes continue for a fifth day in the centre of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, thousands of residents are fleeing the city in fear.

The UN reports that the death toll has reached 200 people, and aid agency compounds have been overrun by fighters.
Efforts to mediate between rival generals vying for control of the country have been put on hold as the leaders of Kenya, Djibouti, and South Sudan are unable to enter Sudan due to the ongoing violence.
