The much talked about heavyweight rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will now take place on December 21, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This was disclosed by a promoter Turki Alalshikh, confirmed on Wednesday through his X handle.
He wrote, “The rematch between the Undisputed Champion Oleksandr Usyk and the Champion Tyson Fury is now scheduled on the 21 of December 2024 during Riyadh Season…
“The world will watch another historical fight again… Our commitment to boxing fans continues… We hope you enjoy it…”
The pair fought on May 18, with Usyk emerging victorious via a split decision victory to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
The contest would give Briton Fury, 35, the opportunity to gain revenge after tasting defeat for the first time in his 16-year professional career against Usyk.
