The Confédération of African Football (CAF) on Thursday unveiled the official match ball for the upcoming 2024 CAF Super Cup final.
In partnership with PUMA, CAF named the match ball ‘OLA’.
In the Super Cup final, CAF Champions League champions Al Ahly will face rival and Confederation Cup champions Zamalek in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Both clubs are based in Egypt.
The special edition of OLA, originally launched during the last interclub finals, is a mix of black and gold, representing power and sophistication.
According to the organisers, the ball will be the centrepiece of the eagerly-awaited match between the two giants of African football.
The OLA ball stands out with its vibrant design and cultural significance.
Findings revealed that OLA means wealth, honour and respect in Yoruba.
In Arabic, it means rise and success.
