Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has completed his degree programme in the United Kingdom where he has been furthering his football career.
According to Ndidi who spoke in a video interview with Football Daily in London, he enrolled for the programme at De Montfort University in the UK.
The Leicester city midfielder said the degree gave him more knowledge about business which he planned to get into after retiring from football.
He said, “Yeah, I am done. I did like a 10 course class which can enroll me into a proper university degree.”
Ndidi is rated as one of the best tacklers in the Premier League, and considered a key player for both club and country.
Aside Leicester, Ndidi has played for Belgian football club Genk.
Born in 1996, Ndidi started football as a youth in 2002 before he first played for Nigeria’s U20 team Flying Eagles in 2013.
Another Nigerian Taiwo Awoniyi who plays for Super Eagles, a new Nottingham Forest recruit, recently revealed that he has also completed his degree programme in UK.
