Reports have indicated that Chelsea have renewed interest in getting Nigerian international Victor Osimhen from Serie A giants Napoli.
According to Caught Offside, Osimhen is the subject of interest from Chelsea.
The Blues are keen on signing the 24-year-old Napoli striker in 2024.
The under pressure Premier League club are increasing the pressure on Serie A champions by making enquiries more frequently in the coming months.
Osimhen has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world since joining Napoli.
The Super Eagles hitman always had pundits raving about him during his days in the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
But he has taken his performances up several levels in the last three years.
He experienced some teething problems in his early days as a Napoli player.
But he has not looked back since finding a stable footing at the Diego Armando Maradona.
Osimhen was instrumental in landing the Serie A title last season while finishing the campaign as the top scorer in the Italian top flight.
The former LOSC Lille striker has continued his form this season, though his club has not been top notch like last season.
The player has managed six goals in eight league outings.
But talks over a new contract between the two parties have stalled since some distasteful TikTok videos surfaced featuring him.
Such a situation has alerted several high-profile clubs, including Chelsea.
