The 2021 edition of the BBNaija reality TV show officially kicked off on Saturday, July 24 at exactly 7:30pm, with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announcing this edition is tagged ‘Shine Ya Eye’.

It began with Ebuka taking the viewers on a tour of the brand new BBNaija house, later introducing the male housemates and inviting rave of the moment, LADIPOE to perform his hit song, ‘Feeling’.

The host went on to introduce 11 male housemates; Boma, Saga, Yousef, White Money, Niyi, Yerins, Pere, Emmanuel, Jay Paul, Sammie and Cross on the Saturday launch show.

Ebuka would later inform the viewers that the female housemates would make their way into the BBNaija house on Sunday night.

Some housemates who seem to have captivated the viewers and generated comments from the first day are; Saga, White Money, Yousef and Boma

As we await the female housemates’ arrival on Sunday night, let’s check out the profiles of the 10 males who made it to the BBNaija house on Saturday night.

1. Boma

Boma is a mixologist, a footballer and a masseuse who grew up in Lagos. He describes himself as a lover boy and wants to be the “go to guy” in the house.

2. SAGA

Also bred in Lagos is Saga. He is an artist, a trained engineer and a fitness coach. The 28-year-old plans to drop engineering and go into entertainment because he is passionate about the arts.

3. Yousef

Yes, you guessed right. Yousef is biracial. He is a model and a high school teacher from Jos. He looks forward to winning the N90 million cash prize which he describes as a big achievement cake.

4. PERE

He is Warri born artist who also sings and write songs for fun. Pere is into real estate. He also disclosed that he had a four-year stint with the US military.

5. WHITE MONEY

White money is a businessman who loves to bring smiles to people’s faces. He said he is bringing the fire and entertainment into BBNaija and will be the reason people subscribe to the show because he is a load of talent.

6. NIYI

Standing over six feet tall in the House is Niyi. The hulk is married and has a three-year-old son.

He is a businessman and has an event company in Capetown, South Africa. Niyi looks forward to having fun and living the best moment of his life in the house.

7. YERINS

Ever heard of Polymath? That’s what Yerins describes himself! He said he is a renaissance man and has an undying need for knowledge. The egghead is a medical doctor, musician and artist who loves to eat. He will be bringing creativity, drama and craziness to the BBNaija house.

8. JAYPAUL

He cooks, dances and makes movies. Also a TV personality, the 29-year-old said he is regarded as a playboy. He loves really hard but belongs to nobody and everybody.

9. Emmanuel

Emmanuel is a 24-year-old model and winner of Mr Africa. The Akwa-Ibomite loves reading, travelling and driving fast cars. He describes himself a hustler with the mind of a king. Emmanuel wants viewers to expect a little drama from him.

10. Sammie

Sammie is a final year student of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria studying Guidance and Counselling. He said he will be talking all through the 90 days in the BBNAIJA house.

11. CROSS

Unarguably the life of the party, Cross is a 34-year-old adventurous man who loves pretty women and partying. Weekends begin on Thursday for Cross with him linking up with friends and clubbing. He loves working out and drama.
