The Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions has recommended a six-month suspension of opposition Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central over violation of Senate rule.
This follows her investigation by the Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Code of Conduct which found her guilty of allegations against her, arising from her refusal to appear on Wednesday before the committee.
The Senate committee during plenary on Thursday also advised that salary and security details drafted to Akpoti-Uduaghan who has alleged sexual harassment against the Senate President Godswill Akpabio be withdrawn.
