Premier club, Everton has appointed Frank Lampard as their new Manager on two-and-a-half year deal.
Lampard had reached an agreement and completed the formalities of his contract with the club on Sunday.
The 43-year-old replaces Rafael Benitez, who left the club earlier this month after one win in 13 games.
Lampard was considered for the job after Everton’s hierarchy concluded the final round of interviews on Friday.
The legendary midfielder has begun work already and is now putting his backroom staff in place and signing new players.
An official announcement on Lampard is expected from Everton on Monday.
According to report, out of favour Manchester United star Donny van de Beek may become Lampard’s first signing for the club before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Everton are keen on bringing the Dutch midfielder on loan until the end of the season.
Lampard has been out of the game since being sacked as Chelsea Manager a year ago.
But the former Manchester City player is expected to take charge of his first game in the FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Brentford on Saturday.
