Most of the invited players of both Nigeria and Algeria National teams have arrived their various camps ahead of much the anticipated international friendly clash slated for Tuesday September 27, 2022.
For Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Heritage Times HT gathered that up to 18 players are already in Constantine, Algeria, getting ready to kick-start training on Tuesday September 20.
Hajduk Split defender Chidozie Awaziem was the first player to arrive at the camp.
The former Porto ace has since been joined by Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong, Leganes centre-back Kenneth Omeruo, and Torino’s Ola Aina.
Ajax Amsterdam’s summer signing and Nigeria’s most expensive defender in history Calvin Bassey have also arrived the camp.
Also in camp are Porto full-back Zaidu Sanusi, Brentford’s Frank Onyeka, and Sochaux’s Valentine Ozornwafor.

Club Brugge’s Raphael Onyedika has honoured his first international call-up, and Leicester City Wilfred Ndidi has since joined him.
There is a return to the national team fold for Hoffenheim’s Kevin Akpoguma, Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi, and Hertha Berlin’s Chidera Ejuke.
The arrival of Super Eagles regulars Moses Simon and Alex Iwobi have been confirmed.
Watford goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, Cremonese’s Cyriel Dessers, and Lorient goal merchant Terem Moffi are also in Algeria.
Six more players are still expected to arrive in camp in the coming hours.
They are goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Adebayo, striker Kelechi Iheanacho, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman, Portugal-based Godwin Saviour, and Lobi Stars’ Ebube Duru.
Despite the massive withdrawal of Super Eagles players due to injuries, the game still promises to be explosive.
Meanwhile, over 70 per cent of the invited Algeria’s Desert stars players arrived at the Sidi Mousa camp on Monday evening to commence preparation for the game.
They will face Guinea on Friday September 23 before confronting the Super Eagles four days after in Oran.
