Barcelona forward, Antoine Griezmann has stated that nothing will make him put a pair of scissors through his hair even though the club instructed him to do.
The France international has struggled to hit top form at Camp Nou after he completed a summer move from Atlectico Madrid in 2019.
Griezmann has been subjected to negative comments in the last couple of weeks by the club’s supporters to the point that he was approached off the pitch after the loss to his former club Atletico.
Griezmann told Universo Valdano: “I will keep my hair long even if they ask me to cut it. My children and my wife want me to keep it.
“Since my arrival at Barcelona, I have not spoken. I said at the time that I only want to speak on the pitch, not publicly.
“I have been putting up with many different comments, and now I’ve said enough is enough. It is time to put things right.”
Griezmann has scored two goals and provided one assist in eight La Liga games so far this season.
