Chelsea slipped to eighth in the Premier League table after suffering their fifth defeat of the season on Sunday evening.
Manchester City showed class as they ran out 3-1 winners at Stamford Bridge thanks to first-half strikes from Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden and Kevin de Bruyne, before Callum Hudson-Odoi got a consolation for the hosts.
Though, fans are still kept in the dark as regards Chelsea’s downward form, a need for a new oil to keep the lamp lit might just be needed if Peter Drury’s brutal commentary during and after the match is anything to go by.
Drury is regarded by many as the greatest commentator, dubbed football’s poet due to his incredible way for words.
The 53-year-old wore his usual coat adorned with untamed words as Chelsea went down to City in a keenly contested Premier League game.
