Hours after denying breaking into her residence, officials of EFCC returned to the apartment, forced their way in and harassed occupants for making a video of their earlier invasion and posting it on social media.
Recall, that the officials earlier this morning broke into her apartment located in the Lekki area of Lagos State, leaving her and other occupants of the house terrified.

Dorathy on her Instagram story had shared her experience narrating how they broke down the door to her living room to gain access into the house.

According to her, these officials later told her to remain calm that they were actually after some guys who they said ran into the estate and they didn’t want to miss them.

A surprised Dorathy wondered if the lives of citizen still remain safe while in the comfort of their homes, as the operatives carried out their duties in such illegal and unprofessional manner.

However in a swift reaction by noon, EFCC in a statement denied the allegations that it illegally invaded the residence of the reality tv star.

According to the statement, the anti-graft agency explained that it had a search warrant for the entire building while adding that Dorathy was not present I. The apartment during the search.

It said, “Ms. Bachor’s apartment happens to be one of the flats in the building. EFCC operatives had know knocked on her entrance door, identified themselves as being from the commission on a mission to execute a search warrant.

“But they were refused entry for several minutes by Bachor’s sister. The operatives were left with no choice than to force their way in, least suspects escape or destroy vital evidence”.
