Manchester City ‘s capitulation continued on Wednesday night after Aston Villa stunned Premier League Champions 1-0 in one of the midweek matches.
The victory, courtesy of a Leon Bailey’s strike, moved Villa to third place on the League summit.
The Citizens have now gone four matches without a victory, with the previous three ending in draws.
The draws were against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham.
They are currently fourth on the log and six points behind leaders Arsenal.
Despite the worsening period, City Coach Pep Guardiola has insisted that his team will definitely retain the Premier League title.
Manchester United, Fulham Momentum
Meanwhile, Manchester United beat fellow strugglers Chelsea on same night to gain mommentum in the push to be on better stead on the League table.
Also, Fulham with a double from Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi thrashed Nottingham Forest 5-0.
