Popular Afrobeat artist, Wizkid lost his mother on Friday, August 18, 2023.
Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun passed on while the cause of her death is yet to be made known.
Mrs Balogun was far more than just a mother to her son, wizkid. She was also his backbone in the music industry. Her presence was seen in most of her son’s concert, as she showed her support by cheering wizkid on at the sideline of his concerts/events.
Wizkid, has not yet made a public statement regarding the loss.
The late Balogun is the mother to two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
