Nigeria Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu, on Friday night, scored four goals in his club KRC Genk 4-1 home win against Royal Charleroi on Matchday 16.
So far, the lanky forward has netted 12 goals this season.
Against Charleroi, the Nigerian striker opened scoring from a penalty spot in the 9th minute before making it 2-0 in the 35th minute.
Heymans reduced the tally for the away side in the 66th minute before Onuachu completed his hat trick in the 71st minute.
The Nigerian international completed his double brace in the 95th minute and sealed maximum points for the Limburgers.
Onuachu’s four-goal haul makes him the first Genk player to achieve the feat since Wesley Sonck in 2003. He has now scored 12 goals in his last seven appearances for Genk.
His goals have also sent the 2021 runners-up 10 points clear of Royal Antwerp in the Belgian Jupiler League.
