Super Eagles defender Ola Aina could be heading for the exit at Torino, following a reported interest from Premier League club Crystal Palace.
The Chelsea youth academy graduand joined Torino in 2018 after making three senior appearances for the West London outfit.
The defender returned to England last season, on loan with Fulham, who were eventually relegated.
During his time with the Cottagers, Aina made 31 appearances, but his contribution of two goals and an assist was not enough to ensure their Premier League status as they were relegated to the Championship.
And with the Cottagers deciding not to hand him a permanent deal, Aina returned to Turin.
Despite an on-and-off season with Torino this term, Aina has still managed to feature in 19 of Torino’s 34 Serie A games, 15 of which were as a starter.
And his overall Serie A career record reads a decent 81 matches, one goal, and five assists.
The 25-year-old could be set for a permanent return to England, with Crystal Palace reportedly in pole position to secure his signature.
Torino will be motivated to allow Aina to leave this summer for €12m, as the Super Eagles star could depart for free next year when his contract expires.
Aina is not the only Nigerian star in Italy being linked with a move to England, with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen reportedly on the radar of Manchester United.
