Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has returned home on Saturday after talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi in Cairo, where the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and coordinating efforts on pressing regional and international issues.
The visit emphasized the close ties between Bahrain and Egypt, with discussions centred on matters of common concern and efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
Upon his return to Bahrain, King Hamad was received by Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The King later sent a message of appreciation to President Sisi, thanking him for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him and his delegation during the visit.
King Hamad also commended the Egyptian President for the constructive discussions held during their meeting, particularly on regional and international developments affecting both countries.
He praised Egypt’s continued support for Bahrain’s security and stability, as well as Cairo’s commitment to strengthening coordination and consultation on regional peace and security.
The Bahraini monarch expressed hope that the longstanding cooperation between the two countries would continue to deepen, while wishing President Sisi and the Egyptian people further progress, stability and prosperity.
