Tammy Abraham’s girlfriend Leah Monroe lost her cool during Chelsea’s FA Cup clash with Leicester City on Saturday as she took to Instagram to blast Thomas Tuchel for leaving out the striker from the Blues squad.
Abraham has fallen from the pecking order since the German took over at the helm in January.
And on Saturday, the 23-year-old was made to watch the game from the stand – despite him being Chelsea’s top scorer this season.
Timo Werner was handed a starting role in the attack, with Olivier Giroud and record signing Kai Havertz both among the substitutes.
Furious about Abraham’s snub, she wrote in a now-deleted post:“How on earth do you make the decision to leave your top goal scorer out of the squad for a final!?!”
“The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition? “It’s not making any sense to me whatsoever.”
She also added: “Not even the bench?! This has to be a joke.”
Chelsea went on to lose the final 1-0 thanks to a 63rd minute Youri Tielemans volley from outside the box.
Abraham has remained a subject of transfer speculation in recent months as Premier League clubs have monitored his situation including Aston Villa – where he previously enjoyed an interesting loan spell – Wolves and West Ham.
