It was not the best of nights for Los Angeles Lakers as they bit the dust against hard fighting Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA finals.
The staple center giants, loss in their black mamba jersey for the first time and are now forced to wait for two more days, having failed to pull a comeback in a 111 – 108 final score.
Duncan Robinson and Jimmy Butler, most notably took the game to the Lakers as they decided the game with 26 points, 35 points, 11 assists and 12 rebounds respectively.
Lebron James who has won the championship three times gave a good account of himself on the night. However, Danny Green missed an open three with the Lakers trailing by one and thus, broke the heart of many fans.
Although, his teammates did get the offensive rebound, but Markieff Morris threw the ball out of bounds, ending the Lakers’ final chance to win the game.
