Nigerian International Ademola Lookman, Ballon d’Or winners – Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid player Kylian Mbappé and Manchester City goal poacher Erling Haaland are among the nominees for the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards.
This was revealed by organisers of the award via X on Thursday November 14, 2024.
Lookman, 27, finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’or ranking and is also in the running for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year.
The former Leicester City striker has been in fantastic form this year for both club and country.
Lookman scored three goals in seven appearances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
He also scored a historic hat-trick for Atalanta in the final of the UEFA Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen.
